Communications Officer Centre of Expertise Healthwise (0.5-0.7 fte)

Organisation
University of Groningen

Department
Faculty of Economics and Business

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) has approximately 6,500 students and 650 staff members who form an informal, personal and inspiring academic community. 20% of our students and 25% of our staff are international. FEB provides an ambitious, open and dynamic working environment and encourages its staff members to innovate. The Faculty is AACSB and EQUIS accredited and is thus among the top 1% of business schools worldwide.

The Department of Marketing, International Affairs and Communications (MIC) of FEB supports and advises the Faculty Board, the programme directors, the departmental heads and others on developing and improving FEB’s position with regard to external relations and its education and research. MIC has around 20 members of staff and provides support in such areas as internationalisation, marketing and recruitment, internal and external communication, video production, event organisation and research communication. The Department is part of Education and Communication Services (ECS), which also includes the Exchange Office, the Student Administration Office, Study Advice and Educational Quality.

The Centre of Expertise Healthwise links academic expertise to questions from the field by arranging multidisciplinary research to support the healthcare sector. Experienced researchers and students work closely with various organisations to conduct tailor-made research, driven by demand from society and healthcare practitioners. Our applied research ties in with the latest developments and issues in society, and focuses on translating fundamental knowledge into healthcare practice both now and in the future. By passing on and sharing our knowledge, we aim to help safeguard the future of healthcare.
