We are NHL Stenden Hospitality Group (NHG), the team behind ten unique outlets—including Notiz Hotel, Restaurant Wannee, the Espresso bar, and Café IF. Operational hours align with the restaurant’s opening hours. You will work 4 days per week, including weekend rotations, as the restaurant operates 7 days per week. Shifts may fall between 06:00 and 24:00, depending on operational needs. Flexibility is required during peak periods, special events, and public holidays. Please note that, as this is a junior position, evening and weekend work is an essential part of the role.

The operational hours align with the restaurants opening hours – You will work 4 days per week and depending on your shift this will include a weekend rotation as we are 7-day operations. Working hours are from 6:00AM to 11:30 PM. Note that flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate peak periods, special events and public holidays.

The Role
As a Restaurant Practical Facilitator, you will:
- Guiding and coaching students in delivering professional restaurant and bar service
- Acting as a role model, mentor, and subject matter expert in hospitality practices
- Supporting students in developing professional skills, confidence, and service standards
- Applying pedagogical and didactic principles to support experiential learning
- Monitoring and maintaining service quality and operational standards during service
- Assisting with planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily operations
- Supporting administrative tasks related to restaurant operations and student activities
- Managing operational organization including inventory, safety compliance, and guest feedback
- Collaborating with colleagues to strengthen training approaches and improve educational practices
- Evaluating daily operations and financial performance to support efficiency and fiscal sustainability
- Learning and working with institutional and operational systems used within the organization
What You Bring
- A strong hospitality background in restaurant or bar operations (management experience preferred)
- Passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting student development
- Interest in pedagogy and applied hospitality education
- Experience with training, coaching, or guiding teams; educational experience is a plus
- Didactic qualification or willingness to obtain
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to manage scheduling, coordination, and operational planning tasks
- Comfort learning new systems, tools, and digital platforms
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in English (minimum Cambridge Level B2) and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree or willingness to obtain one

- Depending on your knowledge and experience, the gross monthly salary ranges from €2.950,65 to €4.084,93 (scale 7 benifits of NHG) based on a full-time position (1.0 FTE/38 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonus
