In het kort
It's time to transform the world! Gasunie is therefore making every effort to realise the transition to a sustainable energy supply. Among other things by developing and driving the hydrogen economy and connecting supply and demand with infrastructure projects. As a business development manager at Gasunie, you play a significant role in this international transformation.
Location: Groningen, with hybrid working being a possibility.
Hours per week: 32 to 40 hours
What will you do?
Building a new hydrogen economy is pioneering. That's creating something new. This makes the work challenging, complex and very dynamic. But also provides a lot of satisfaction when really big steps are taken. And you can make those steps at Gasunie. Because if there is one company in the Netherlands and Germany that can make a real contribution to the large-scale use of hydrogen (H2), it is Gasunie.
Importing hydrogen to north-western Europe, in addition to the domestic production of hydrogen, is crucial to achieving the climate objectives. As part of the hydrogen import team, you can make an important contribution to these ambitions by developing import terminals in Dutch and German ports for the import of hydrogen and hydrogen derivatives (such as the ACE terminal). Together with partners from all over the world, you will work on the development of international hydrogen value chains.
As a business development manager you are responsible for managing and connecting multidisciplinary and/or commercial teams in an international context. You will come up with creative solutions for complex commercial issues on a daily basis. You will identify and analyse customer needs and you will closely follow market and competitive developments. You translate this into concrete propositions, contracts and services. During these processes, you represent the interests of Gasunie. You are also responsible for negotiating these contracts and building partnerships with other parties in the value chain. In short, a very challenging and dynamic position in which you have an active role in the desired positioning of Gasunie.
What do we ask?
- You have a university working and thinking level, supplemented with at least eight years of relevant experience.
- You have experience in developing commercial propositions.
- You have experience with business development in a technical/industrial environment and preferably in the energy sector and/or in the terminal sector.
- You have experience in project development (in particular up to FID) and investment proposals in a capital intensive market.
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
As a person, you are a pioneer, leader, networker and connector. Someone who wants to move forward, who sees, creates and fulfills opportunities. You take ownership and you know how to get support from your stakeholders in your creative and innovative vision. You are very strong in negotiating and in large complex projects (> € 100 million) you take the lead. You feel at ease in an enterprising and inspiring environment.
What do we offer?
- A salary between € 95,568 and € 131,406 gross per year based on full-time employment.
- On top of this you will receive fixed 13th (holiday pay) and 14th month.
- A fixed-term contract with the prospect of a permanent contract.
- An excellent pension scheme with a small personal contribution of 2.45%.
- In addition to 160 hours of leave per year, you will receive a flexible choice budget. You can buy extra days off (max 220 hours) of this, but you can also have it paid out.
- Ample opportunities to follow courses / training.
- A compensation of up to € 750 to set up your workplace at home
- A work laptop/-iPad and an iPhone.
- A mileage reimbursement of €0.23 per km for a maximum of 90 km (one way) per visit to the work location.
