The Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen is seeking to appoint a new Professor of Organization and Management Studies to compliment and further develop research and teaching within the Department of Innovation Management and Strategy. Based in Northern Netherlands, the University is one of the oldest and largest in the country and is ranked within the global top 100. The University is truly global and has strong collaborations with a number of renowned international universities, including Uppsala, Göttingen, Ghent, Tsinghua University, Osaka University, UCLA, and the University of Pennsylvania.
The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) is a research-focused, international Faculty which consistently ranks highly in international business rankings. FEB offers an inspiring international academic community for students, staff, alumni and external organisations. The Faculty is renowned for its quality, ambition and identity. The position is situated in the Department of Innovation Management and Strategy which comprises six Full Professors, 8 Associate Professors, and 20 Assistant Professors in addition to PhD students.
The new Professor will be a world-leading researcher and teacher in the field of Organization and Management Studies. The appointee will have a track record of outstanding academic research and teaching, a strong international network and demonstrable management qualities. He / She will be appointed as a Fellow of SOM (the research school of the Faculty).
