We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with knowledge and expertise in electrical engineering.
Where will you be working
The electrical engineering department is one of the programmes of the Academy for Technology & Innovation (T&I) of NHL Stenden University. It is a programme with a focus on the individual and has been voted Top Study Programme by the Keuzegids Hbo for 4 years in a row. Together with the team you strive to maintain this position.
What will you be doing
You make students of the study of Electrical Engineering enthusiastic for the profession. They become fascinated because you can explain how they gain knowledge in practice. This makes you capable of guiding students during group and individual projects. You also supervise students during their internship and graduation.
With all your experience in technology, you know better than anyone that education in this sector must be in line with today's professions. Together with the team of eight enthusiastic and committed colleagues, you are therefore constantly developing education. For this, you work together with the business community, the research groups and you also involve the students in this.
Applicant profile
We are looking for a colleague who:

Is in the possession of a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or another related technical education (at least) higher professional education level.

Possesses a Basic Qualification Didactic Skills or is willing to get this.

Has a field of interest in Industrial Automation and Smart Industry.

Enjoys coaching, stimulating and motivating students.

Closely follows new developments in the field.

As a team player, constantly focuses on cooperation.

Can communicate clearly, both orally and on paper.

With your entrepreneurial and proactive attitude, goes for results.

Understands that coordination and administration can also be part of your work.
We offer

The salary is based on age and experience, to a maximum € 5.332,48 (scale 11, Collective Labour Agreement for higher education) gross per month for a full-time position, excluding 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
As an Electrical Engineering lecturer researcher, you will have plenty of space, opportunities and freedom to develop yourself further. We invest in your development and facilitate your acquisition of the basic qualification Didactical Skills, if you do not already have it.
The contract is at first temporary for a year.
