We offer a dynamic and fast-growing workplace where you’ll have the opportunity to grow, share ideas, and make a real impact. Depending on your experience, the gross monthly salary ranges from €2.918,17 to €4.376,46 (scale 7–8 of the compensation and benefits of NHG) based on a full-time position (1.0 FTE).
The contract is initially for the duration of 1 year but can be extended after successful completion of this period.
NHG also offers attractive terms and conditions including many opportunities in personal and career development, participation in collective health insurance and an employer vitality plan. Other conditions include a structural end-of-year bonus of 8.3%, paid parental leave, a bicycle scheme and travel compensation as well as other insurance schemes.
The operational hours align with the restaurants opening hours – You will work 5 days per week and depending on your shift this will include a weekend. Working hours are from 5:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Note that flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate peak periods, special events and public holidays.

The Role
As a Chef Practical Facilitator, you will:
- Lead day-to-day kitchen operations in a dynamic, commercial restaurant environment.
- Coach and mentor hospitality students through all aspects of kitchen service.
- Guide students in mise en place, food safety, service execution, and various orders.
- Support students in developing leadership, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Collaborate with other facilitators and the Head of Food & Beverage to maintain high culinary standards.
- Integrate practical assignments and real-world learning into daily operations.
- Embrace digital tools and contribute to improving systems and workflows.
What You Bring
- Several years of professional kitchen experience, including team leadership (e.g., Chef or Sous Chef).
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, menu development, inventory, and cost control.
- A passion for teaching and a natural ability to coach and inspire others.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Cambridge B2 or higher).
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Comfort with digital systems and a willingness to embrace new technology.
- A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to innovate and improve efficiency.
- A relevant culinary qualification (MBO/HBO or higher).
- A teaching certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
