About the job
- We are looking for a Content Creation specialist who loves getting up every day to share their expertise with the next generation. Based on the concept of Design-based Education, you support your students both individually and in teams during their practical assignments and you know how to inspire and motivate them.
- One of the unique aspects of this teaching position at NHL Stenden is its demand-driven approach. By working closely with your students, you unearth the questions and needs they might have, and you develop appropriate workshops as you go. You contribute actively to educational developments, finding innovative ways of renewing the curriculum.

What is our organizational structure and what do we offer?
The Communication & Creative Business Academy, with about 90 colleagues and 1,350 students (national and international) wants to play a leading role within the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences. The academy consists of a relatively young and enthusiastic teaching/support team. The team is characterised by own initiative, commitment and dialogue. Successes are celebrated with students. Together, we develop education fitting the industry, both national as well as international; based on the educational concept ‘Design Based Education’ which is, amongst other things, focused on cooperation with the professional field..
Our students grow into experts who develop content and media strategies for different companies as well as non-profit organizations. Therefore, we designed our curriculum in close collaboration with professionals from the marketing and media fields. The three main parts of the curriculum are 1) Content Strategy, 2) Content Creation and 3) Content Implementation.
What we ask of you:
- You have extensive experience in the media-, marketing-, communications- or any other related industry.
- You have knowledge of and experience with one or multiple components of content strategy; content marketing; content creation; content implementation and monitoring; and content management.
- You are widely employable within a multidisciplinary team
- You have an affinity with design thinking.
- Having completed a master’s degree is a must and preferably a PhD.
- You are passionate about your field of expertise and are able to spot new opportunities for innovation, trends, and new developments.
- You have excellent communication skills in English.
