The International Business School (IBS), of Hanze University Groningen, is looking for a Educational (and Financial) Support MIBM Master.

What you will do
In this position, you play a pivotal role within the Master's programme in terms of internal and external communication with stakeholders, colleagues and students, working closely with other support staff at IBS. You also support the programme manager in various educational logistical and administrative tasks. You are responsible for implementing processes and projects and providing information. You generate (management) information, prepare notes and reports, monitor procedures and make improvement proposals. What else do you do?

  • Reporting follow-up data regarding Master students in the student information system (Osiris).
  • Planning and monitoring examination planning and registration.
  • Reporting study success rates of student groups within IBS.
  • Ensuring adequate communication to students and staff on educational matters.
  • Supporting the budget planning and control cycle by collecting data for the periodic financial planning and reports.

This is a varied function in a dynamic environment, in which you will work together with international colleagues.

What we ask of you

  • Relevant work experience and hbo work and thinking level;
  • Excellent computer skills (MS-Office is a must, experience with Osiris, OnStage and Blackboard is a plus);
  • Experience with financial administration (or willing to learn);
  • Service-oriented attitude;
  • Excellent oral and written skills both in Dutch and English;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to switch quickly between various roles and activities;
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills and flexibility.

  • A one-year contract of 0.6 FTE with the possibility of expanding this to 0.8 FTE in the first year. Starting date as soon as possible. After that, there is a possibility of extending the contract for at least 0.6 fte.
  • Scale 8 (min. € 3.018,- en max. € 4.085,-), in accordance with CAO-HBO. A gross monthly salary for a full-time appointment (processes and projects assistant B).
  • A holiday allowance of 8% and a structural end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.
  • A maximum of 53 days off and, in addition, you can make use of sustainable employability hours and home working facilities.
