Do you want to contribute to ground-breaking education in the field of hospitality, facilitation and career coaching?
Who are we looking for
Someone with extensive work experience within hospitality industry. Especially, experience in Revenue Management and Rooms Division management (able to integrate different areas/disciplines and knowledge/insights into current affairs and contemporary developments in hospitality operations.
Preference will be given to a candidate with an international background and industry experience as well as one who may have teaching qualifications and is familiar with Design Based Education and Learning (or is prepared to obtain training/certification in these areas). Furthermore, someone who has a Master's degree, an excellent oral and written command of English and who would like to develop himself/herself as an atelier facilitator and coach*.

NHL Stenden Hotel Management School is an international institute with approximately 2500 students and over 115 employees. The academy offers 'real world', internationally oriented educational programmes, designed to prepare students for operational and management positions in the hospitality industry, and other service-related companies. NHL Stenden HMS programmes are delivered at national and international branch campuses.

- Atelier sessions consist of 25 students. As a facilitator you are process observer who supports and makes learner-oriented interventions, focusing on the group process. Students have ownership and control over the learning process. In this role you work on real (design) challenges from the industry as well as situated in real-life environment of the student/learner, using design thinking process in an iterative manner. And you will be guiding the group in reaching learning outcomes by means of working on design challenges. As a coach you guide and coach students in their personal and professional development throughout their study journey.

- Coaching students from selection until graduation.
- Facilitating sessions in Design Based Education.
- Conducting workshops and expert sessions on a range of Revenue Management, Rooms division related topics.
- Develop, execute and assess education to reflect current trends and advancements in the field.
- Implementing the connection between Revenue Management, Rooms division by looking at possible crossovers such as Operations, Marketing, IT, Consumer Psychology.
- Collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
- Supervising graduation products.
Required Competencies:
- Student-Centred Approach: Commitment to student success and the ability to provide personalised support and guidance.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and research findings.
- Professional Engagement: Active participation in professional organizations and networks related to Revenue Management and Education.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of the expertise area Marketing Revenue management and contribute to the academic community.
- Innovative Teaching Methods, Course Design & Development: Experience with innovative teaching methods & technologies, proficiency in designing & developing course materials and assessments.

Additionally:
- Depending on your knowledge and experience, the salary is a maximum of €6.114,87 (scale 11 Collective Labour Agreement for higher professional education) gross per month for a full-time position, excluding 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
- The initial term of your employment contract will be one year, with an expectation of renewal.
- Your normal place of work is in Leeuwarden, but you must be willing to travel if the job requires it.
