Who are we looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with knowledge and expertise in industrial automation and robotics.
Where will you be working
The electrical engineering department is one of the programmes of the Academy for Technology & Innovation (T&I) of NHL Stenden University. It is a programme with attention for the individual student that has been voted Top Study Programme by the Keuzegids Hbo for 4 years in a row. Together with the team you strive to maintain this position.
What will you be doing
You make students of the study of Electrical Engineering enthusiastic for the profession. They become fascinated because you can explain how they gain knowledge in practice. This makes you capable of guiding students during their study. You also supervise students during their internship and graduation.
With all your experience in technology, you know better than anyone that education in this sector must be in line with today's professions. Together with the team of eight enthusiastic and committed colleagues, you are therefore constantly developing education. For this, you work together with the business community, the research groups and the students. You will do this at least in the field of Industrial Automation and Smart Industry.

A challenging environment with plenty of space for own initiative and personal development. The salary is based on age and experience, to a maximum € 5.936,77 (scale 11, Collective Labour Agreement for higher education) gross per month for a full-time position, excluding 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonus. As a lecturer researcher, you will have plenty of space, opportunities, and freedom to develop yourself further. We invest in your development and facilitate your acquisition of the basic qualification Didactical Skills, if you do not already have it. The contract is for the duration of one year with the prospect of a permanent position upon proven suitability.

Applicant profile
We are looking for a colleague who
- Has a master's degree in electrical engineering or another related technical education or is willing to obtain a master's degree,
- Has experience in Industrial Automation and Robotics,
- Possesses a Basic Didactic Skills Qualification or is willing to get this,
- Enjoys coaching, stimulating and motivating students,
- Follows new developments in the field closely,
- Can communicate clearly, both orally and on paper,
- Wants to learn the Dutch language,
- Goes for results with a proactive attitude.
